Over the River and Thru the Woods . . .

. . . to Grandmother's House We Go . . . I took these pictures back in 2006, so they're just a bit dated. It's greener now, the kudzoo is a little more unruly, and the dogs are different, but it's the way we get to Grandma's house. I'll have to take an updated video or something, but this is definitely a trip down memory lane for all of us. My dad (Uncle Butch) told me that from the lake house driveway all the way to Grandma's house used to be trees and an old wagon route. You could see the ruts that the wagon wheels made - with trees growing between them! Dad and Grandpa cleared the way together before they built the house. Grandpa said the wagon ruts were from gypsey's, but who can say for sure . . . you know Grandpa! ;)

  1. Hey Steph, Just a suggestion, it is really, really hard to see your journaling with this background. Is there anyway to change it to something more simple so it is easier to read?
