Grandpa Seay's Funeral - Burial Service

Grandpa Seay's Funeral - Burial Service
Everyone visited with Grandma and each other after the burial service.

Grandpa Seay's Funeral - Family Meal

Grandpa Seay's Funeral - At Grandma's
We all went to Grandma's house after our family meal. We enjoyed hanging around the house, talking to each other, and talking about old times. There was hardly anywhere to sit! Grandma's house has never been so full - of family and of love. What a beautiful day it was.

4th of July cookout at Lee's
Lots of cousins met at Lee's house for a cookout and fireworks. It was so much fun to catch up with family and have a good meal. There was plenty of food (especially chips) and there was something for everyone to do. Some played badmitton, some played a fun game with beanbags, some played with the puppies, and some just sat and talked. It was a great evening. (p.s. ~ if you point at the pictures with your mouse, it will pause on that picture, and some have captions)

This was a fun game made up by Uncle Wayne after we were done eating. There were two platforms with a hole in each, and the object of the game was to toss your beanbag into or as close to the hole as you could get. We all took turns tossing, and we had an elimination process to see who the winner would be. Stephanie was just watching as the photographer, but got pulled into the game and came out on top! We're not sure if her hubby, Justin, just let her win that last round, but he probably realized that if she won, he won, too - and if she lost . . . ha, ha, I'm just kidding! It was a fun game, though. Thanks, Uncle Wayne. You always come up with the most interesting games!

We all pulled up our camping chairs to watch the awesome firework show put on by some of the older cousins. It was a "blast"!!! The kids loved it (although the younger ones had a tough time - sorry it scared you, Mia!). We were so impressed with our big finale! Megan and Kell and a few others got pelted with debris, but you'll have to ask Megan or Kevin about that. Did you ever make that shadow box, Kevin? And the finale started a small brush fire, but all the older male cousins were there with their flip-flops to stomp it out, so we were okay. Lee and his family did a great job with our get-together. Let's do it again tomorrow!!!

4th of July cookout at Lee's
We had so much fun at Lee's house! We had a cookout, made home-made ice cream, and visited with each other. Some of us played badmitton, played a beanbag game that Uncle Wayne made up, or played with the puppies.
